I wanted to make the first post interesting and what a better way to start with weddings!

The first year is the honeymoon phase 💖 It's all sweet and romantic and you are spending the first year getting used to the rings on your finger, travelling to your honeymoon destination, changing names and titles on important documents and so much more!

For the first year anniversary the traditional theme is paper but the modern version is clock/Analog. Gosh! I remember my first year anniversary, my son was 2 weeks old and I was recovering from a caesarean operation so I could only walk so far and was drained from feeding and taking care of our baby. I was so sad about missing my 1st year anniversary celebration but my husband wouldn't let it happen and I remember him helping me get ready as I could barely do anything! (Yes C-section sucks!). He took me to the restaurant we went to on our first date years ago and after dinner he gave me a handwritten letter in a bottle and it was beautifully decorated just like the way he did when he proposed (that's a story for another day! I promise xxx). It was filled with such beautiful words which led me to tears of course! I was quite sad as I didn't get him anything:-( but I made sure from then on he always got an amazing anniversary gift from me.
